A company of values
Vestal S.r.l., founded in 1969 by Dario Bodini, is an Italian company based in Trieste, leader in environmental disinfection for the livestock and agricultural sectors.
With the generational transition, his son Marco Bruno Bodini, after a prestigious sporting career culminating in his participation in the 2000 Sydney Olympics in sailing, led the company towards new challenges, expanding its expertise in the field of civil and industrial biological purification and livestock wastewater treatment.
Today, Vestal offers its customers advanced biotechnologies capable of effectively and economically enhancing wastewater, livestock manure, and composting systems, offering concrete solutions wherever environmental impact must be reduced.

The meaning of the name Vestal
The name Vestal derives from Vesta, the goddess of the domestic hearth in ancient Rome. Her public cult consisted of keeping the sacred fire burning in her temple, a task entrusted to the Vestals.
They were also responsible for preparing the ingredients for any public or private sacrifice, such as the mola salsa, a mixture of spelt flour mixed with salt, which was sprinkled on the victim before the sacrifice.

Eco-sustainable and environmentally friendly solutions
The product catalogue includes remedies such as VESTA AGRI and VESTA ZYME, which improve the operating conditions of wastewater treatment systems. The benefits are evident in reduced operating costs and increased system efficiency, with technical staff available for on-site analyses.
Another flagship product is BIOFLUSS, which perfectly restores septic tanks and domestic drains.
The company specializes in biological purification, effectively addressing toxic conditions in both anaerobic and aerobic environments. Using the right products, sludge is revitalized, denitrification and nitrification processes are activated, and oxygen requirements are reduced.
Safe products for healthy and productive agricultural land
One of Vestal’s key markets is agriculture, positioning itself as a reliable partner for all livestock and fruit and vegetable growing companies. A new addition to the catalogue is VESTA AGRIMIX, used to promote the maturation of sewage, significantly reducing ammonia emissions. This product can also be used in industrial settings and on large-scale intensive livestock farms.
The company’s remedies are rigorously biodegradable, specifically formulated to restore soil fertility and land reclamation. This approach provides essential nutrients for healthy plant growth, following a natural cycle.
Small entities for big results
Thanks to the contribution of a special agricultural soil improver called BIOACTIVE, it is possible to restore the bacterial flora to optimal conditions, transforming the residues into humus. Using Bioactive, it is therefore possible to requalify polluted or particularly impoverished soils. The resulting compost has excellent biological value but is odourless.
Furthermore, the company commercializes foliar treatments and fertilizers to combat insects, thrips, and aphids. DISPERSOL, in fact, helps control pests that attack various plant species such as fruit trees, tomatoes, peppers, melons, and a wide range of aromatic plants.
Anaerobic digesters for improved efficiency
With the support of Vestal, companies can count on advanced skills and innovative technologies to comply with pollution regulations. The products deployed allow for increasing the effectiveness of biogas plants, with the direct effect of obtaining a digestate with a lower concentration of dangerous substances such as ammonia, reducing hydrogen sulfide and optimizing yield.
The VESTA AGRI product is used before the digester, inside the mixing tank, with a dosage that can be adjusted ad hoc using the valuable suggestions of the technicians.
The range is completed by industrial detergents, sanitizers, and degreasers, used for both surface cleaning and personal hygiene.
